A. Refinishing Service

Performed in the following steps:
1. Assessment

(1) The number of layers of grinding needed are determined on the basis of

(A) roughness of the surface
(B) lippage of the marble tiles
(C) degree of depressed grout joints.

For normal wear, three different layers of grinding are required.

(2) Honing is always performed in 3 different layers.

(3) Appropriate shining methods are selected.

2. Assignment

(1) The total surface is divided into units where each unit is about     2,000 square feet wide.
(2) A team with 3 crew members is assigned to each unit.
(3) 3 crew members are:

(A) Head stone specialist who operates regular buffer
(B) stone specialist who mans edge buffer
(C) assistant who supplies water, wet vacuums and keeps the working area neat.

(4) A supervisor is assigned if the work requires more than 3 teams at the same time.

3. Service

• Each team is responsible for its assigned unit from start to finish.
• Each team performs at least 3 layers of grinding, 3 layers of honing and shining.

4. Inspection

A supervisor inspects every unit after completing each layer of operation.

B. MAINTENANCE SERVICE

Marble Care, Inc. trains the customer's personnel how to maintain the marble surface for nominal fee.
